I lost interest in this pretty quickly and didn’t really finish it but I wanted to log it anyway to talk about the film’s design which is undoubtedly one of the best in recent memory. I love the idea of the world existing through these grids and parallel lines, the open concept which many have rightly connected to Brechtian theatre technique. It’s honestly such a marvel. I liked parts of the songs I heard and I thought there were interesting ideas at play. I just wish the story and script weren’t so weak
