While I understand the concept behind the film and recognize that it feels like someone's passion project, both the execution and the plot are utterly ridiculous. The movie is a series of disconnected, over-the-top interpersonal dramas set against the backdrop of the Six-Day War. It somehow manages to be both pretentious and cheap at the same time, and the gruesome scene of a woman committing suicide was truly shocking. The film reminds me of the ancient Greek tragedy Seven Against Thebes, where a group of people wails as their city is besieged. Even its anti-Israeli message couldn't make it enjoyable for me.
