I expected this to be another terrible low-budget American ninja movie, but this thing is WAY gnarlier than any of those had the guts to be. A guy tries to kill a kid by running him down with a car. There’s a chainsaw vs sword fight. And it needs to be said, it’s amazing how much better these are when they don’t make some random white guy the ninja.
