I liked it okay? Hypocritical sure considering the story structure of this is basic too, but it was a nice simple watch. The reason I rated it so high is because (ironically considering this was the trainee department) the animation to me was well done (even though sure making clock characters isn’t that hard considering disneys experience both with clock characters and inanimate characters, but still), especially compared to the lackluster story.

I’m going to keep this review short.

This is a Disney animated short following an old London clock shop. There’s one clock in particular that is different to the rest and gets unlucky in the process of being there. A thief breaks in one night and steals some clocks. The main clock exits the store as the thief opens the door. He then gets badly damaged. the owner then finds the clock and brings him back to the shop. He originally puts him in the bin, but shortly after, he realizes he can fix him. The clocks then appreciate him for his unique trait.

It’s just another charming short, with cool animation & a great message at the forefront. It’s nothing crazy, though. Just an above-average short that you can get a fun time out of.

Overall, “Tick Tock Tale” is an above-mediocre Disney short. Focused on portraying a message whilst also entertaining the viewer. It's not the best short I’ve seen in terms of story, message & overall enjoyment.
