Is the flesh and blood show a great title ?
Yes it is.

Kinda, there's plenty of flesh (the girls aren't shy at all) but the blood is a very minor player in this show.
The flesh and blood show Follows a troupe of actors who go to a small Harbour town to set up a show.as they get ready they are being picked off one by one by a masked killer.
The story is a very gaillo/slasher. It's a good mix given that gaillo's are alot of the time murder mystery slashers. In the flesh and blood show I think the mystery is there on paper. In practice it's fairly easy to figure put who did it. The twist in the end is done decently though and I do like how they caught the killer. It was a very Scooby-Doo way to do it but hey it was fun.
The characters are all generally entertaining. They feel alot like a actor hippie archetype with the exception of Ray Brooks and Jenny Hanley. The Jenny hanly character twist was decent as well. They are the most interesting characters because they try to find put what's going on. The rest are all likeable and cool but feel like victims in the end.
The killer here doesn't have any iconic look. I do like his backstory and the revelation scene though. It was one of the best scenes in the movie when you see a flashback to what happened and what broke him. So even if you can guess him from the bat I do like the reveal.
In gaillo movies there are Normally good kills but that is lacking here. It has all the British bits and bobs you want to see but the blood didn't turn up. So yeah the best kill is the flashback scene because it shows it. The others just kind of show the aftermath.
One other highlight was the location a d atmosphere. I like the abandoned theater setting. It lends well to the atmosphere and mystery as the bodies start piling up. What works well with the atmosphere for me is that it sets up the kills and mystery in a good way. They don't always pull off the kill or the mystery doesn't hit perfectly but it was set up in a cool way.
The flesh and blood show has a lot going for it. The mystery, atmosphere and some characters keep the movie entertaining. The kills are a bit lacking though. It also has some sexy ladies who are allergic to clothes at points. In the end i can say I was entertained but it's flaws like being undressed by your fellow co star. Is quite noticeable.
