It hit so much harder considering the fact that im from Kosov, im extremely lucky and I thank god every day that I wasnt around when this was happening. The story is about childhood, the loss of innocence and the terrible genocide that was happening in Kosov in the 90s.

Shok is an albanian film about the struggles of war, friendship and betrayal. 

This is easily one of the best short films i’ve ever watched, the acting is mediocre but the story is very heartbreaking. Knowing people had to go through this is absolutely insane to me.
