I prefer watching the Tamil version of this film, but language aside it's decently good. Its best asset is definitely Karthi, whose comedic delivery and timing are well-balanced by his emotional depth during more serious scenes. I've seen the Hollywood version of this plot with Bryan Cranston and Kevin Hart, and it's better than this film because of Nagarjuna. Though I admit I haven't seen a lot of his work, his acting here is downright wooden compared to Karthi's. The same can be said for Tamannaah; I wouldn't call her a good actress on the best of days, and like Nagarjuna she's pretty terrible. With that being said, the film overall isn't bad, but I think I'll stick to the comedy scene compilations on YouTube instead of watching the entire thing from next time onwards.
