Oh, you thought I threw in the towel on Detective Conan? Well, after a post-390 episode & 8 film hiatus I'm proud to announce I'm back and better than ever.
By far the film that is most like a Conan special, this plays out very much like a much higher budget special. Which, by the way, is far from a bad thing. For once I get to witness glorious high-def Conan solve a murder. Though, admittedly as it does play out like a special, the murder isn't exactly too deeply thought out and for once the ending set piece is very subdued.
Either way, Mori kicks all kinds of ass here. Mans is definitely my GOAT. Love that guy frfr, almost as much as Heiji.
Planning to crank out another few hundred episodes before taking another break. So far, it's been like going home to visit your family. Seeing everyone you love is so wonderful.
