I love Haru Urara and mourned her death like any other fan, but this documentary has some foundational issues.
It is stylistically inconsistent, switching randomly between animation and real footage. It stays mostly animated, but it's done with probably mostly key frames because it is really choppy, so it's not interesting to watch. I would rather see real footage of the real races and the real horse. It also provides no info on what the races were and only shows her placements once, so it feels like key details are completely absent. The lack of details creates a shallow and surface-level documentary, even for those who wouldn't know anything about Haru Urara.
