Wow this is under appreciated. 
A couple of very foxy young outlaws (david carradine and robert walker jr) fuck up a hired gun job and get split up in the fray. Billy (robert walker jr) crosses paths with robert fucking mitchum, who is older and full of “100% done” sass. Mitchum lost a son, and sees potential in “bad boy” billy & takes him under his guidance and the bonding that commences is god damned adorable. 
The dialogue is A+ . ☕️  “doctor told me I better find a climate with a little less lead in the air.”
