I was a big fan of Pure Pwnage back in the day. The eventual television series they made was pretty terrible as I remember but this film tried to get back at the soul of the original web series, it was like catching up with old friends. The story skips a long at a brisk pace, and is pretty solely concerned with getting the characters back to where they were in the original series, then focuses too heavily on the nuts and bolts of gaming. There are also a few too many logical leaps, like we’re missing a directors cut. But honestly it’s more Pure Pwnage and my nostalgia goggles are firmly on.
