For a film meant to be the embodiment of perversity, and death, it’s quite tame. The kills aren’t nearly as brutal as they are described to be, and besides a sex scene with a goat early on, the sex is also somewhat vanilla. The theme is very similar to that of Tenebre’s, only Tenebre is better in every way possible, and wasn’t written in a week. The one thing this film has going for it is its visuals however, as the great cinematography along with the beautiful Greek architecture made for somewhat of a positive of watching this.
