Wow, I guess Angela was very lonely between 2 and 3 that she decided to completely renovate Hull House in that time period. Yeah it’s totally the same Hull House and not one of the crew members’ house or something
Right off the bat you can tell the budget is even lower than the last two, especially with the opening straight out of a cheap 90s Nintendo 64 game. Yes cheap isn’t always a bad thing but the level of care for this feels different than the first two. Plus the special effects? Woof! Was this made for the SyFy channel?
The characters, yeah definitely not as good. Fake Thomas Hayden Church doesn’t hold a candle to Stooge that is for damn sure. Humor? I guess there’s attempts. “Your momma’s so stupid she raised a son who thinks he can get out of here alive!” crickets
Very few redeemable things in here, mostly Angela herself. She deserved a better finale than this. I wonder if Amelia Kinkade would return for a legacy sequel? Probably not but let me dream!
I also have to confess this was the first movie in this trilogy that I saw. Embarrassing but hey I had to go with what my small Iowa town video store gave me!
Also gotta love how Tenney reuses a character from Witchboard in here, even using the same dialogue. Is there a Tenneyverse he’s implying?
