The concept of this film is great, but the execution is iffy. Needs a strong remake...by me. Some cool kills though.

This was one of those watches where u know what’s gonna happen , but the cops suck so bad and don’t believe her that u genuinely don’t know if she’ll make it out alive . also the clay dog creature FUCKS

a bit of a forgotten contribution to 80s slashers. centred around a bookstore clerk who loves horror novels and then finds herself at the centre of one. this was a fun and campy watch with a solid premise and production design. i unfortunately found the lead actress a bit bland
