“Lair of the Beast” or originally titled “Chupacabra Territory” is another found-footage movie that is not able to give the characters a reason to keep filming. Movies like “Blair Witch Project” or “[REC]” have characters who keep filming for a reason. Especially in the last ten minutes no one has a reason to pick up the camera again. The CGI is terrible. Every time some CGI blood hit the camera i was annoyed. The characters are bad and i couldn’t relate to them, except for Morgan, because he thought everything they do is dumb. He is right. The premise sounds very interesting, but the plot developed in a way i did not liked and the second group of campers was even more stupid than our protagonists.
