I’m pretty new to the lore side of Gundam and this movie puts a lot in perspective for me. Really tragic, and I’m kinda rooting for the Zeons? Am I in the wrong here? lol.

Unlike the suave and cool sounding jazz most people associate it with. December sky plays free form jazz and uses it as a calling card for it's enemies. Instead of aimlessly dying, the enemies get to listen to some jazz before seeing a bright purple light in the form of a beam sword shred their mobile suit because he wants them to be aware of their death.

I think anyone going into this film will be very surprised at how good this film is. Just a story of two rival pilots trapped in a perpetual war they both hate and love.
