It's a cute 90's Disney family comedy that hits all the notes you expect it to and manages to just narrowly avoid crossing the line into cheesy. The story is too simple and underdeveloped (and they underutilize Farrah), but it gets a few laughs and maybe a stray tear or two. Gotta point out how hilarious it is that they actually say (something along the lines of) "It's the 90's, haven't you heard of political correctness?" and then have their boy scouts be full on Native American themes with hatchets and headdresses and even going as far as to chant "Hey how are ya? Hey how are ya?". I don't know, maybe it's just that I'm a sucker for JTT and Chevy, but it enjoyed it. I wouldn't go out of my way to recommend it to anyone (ever) or say it should have won awards, but for a 90's kid, this was the shit I loved and I'm relieved that I holds up okay.
