I’m not the hugest listener to k-pop but in 2012-2013, I did listen to BIGBANG a lot. I wasn’t a huge fan that was obsessed with them but I liked their music a lot. And since they’re coming back to the stage, I figured why not watch this. Let’s say I was thoroughly surprised by how much fun I had with this. I expected this to be feel fake and artificial since I watched that one BlackPink Doc. But this was way beyond that. There was a lot of heart and spirit put into this, the members were truly themselves and it doesn’t shy away from their mistakes. The whole process for this world tour was amazing to watch as there was many hardships and many uplifting moments. The way they decided to keep this documentary consistent was with long musical segments of their concert and it works. The energetic editing for the concert really enhance the vibe. I didn’t expect to love this as much as I did and I’m looking forward to BIGBANG hitting the stage again.
