"there's nothing to be afraid of. You see, dreams are just the inner mind working out everyday problems. that’s normal."
“Is it... is it normal to see yourself having sex with faceless strangers, then killing them?"
“that’s different, but not quite as abnormal as you might think..."
i’m not gonna lie, the only reason i watched this is because pamela anderson was in it: plus it looked like a fun erotic/sensual thriller. and yeah, it wasn’t particularly good. i think the concept is pretty fun: a prostitute has sex with men and then slits their throat, and puts a blindfold over their eyes, i think the main problem is that it just recycled the tropes of every other 90s thriller, and does it less good. i wanted to atleast get a ‘so bad its good’ factor from this, but it’s so bad it’s bad.. and its main crime is just being completely boring, plus not sexy or even really that erotic. the plot is just stale and extremely clichéd, the acting is wooden and hilarious at points, the direction feels non-existent, dialogue is badly written and that plot twist was extremely predictable. it also that made for TV feel, and the asian subtext of the film hasn’t aged well. the only reason i’d recommend this to to pam anderson super fans: but even then, i’d stay clear of whatever this was.
