Brutal bursts of violence and equally as brutal bursts of black comedy throughout the restaurants, the back streets, and the rooftops of Macau's labyrinthine urban sprawl, where no-one emerges unscathed. Another classic entry into the Johnnie To pantheon, and just one more reason why I gotta do a real deep dive into his work.
