Hey now. Sam Elliott absolutely steaming mad at a nun (like murderous rage) is such a funny runner to this delightful occult murder mansion romp. Omen style supernatural bump offs of ring-bearing heirs to the Satanic power of a nasty old freak. A little fish out of water fun, a beautiful setting, some chase scenes and action. I had a great time.

Really fun following up The Old Dark House and seeing some of the ingredients here. Also, seeing some stuff from future horror flicks, too.

I am a sucker for movies about American’s that get into cult like trouble in foreign countries. I’d never heard of this one before but I liked it. I had no idea Sam Elliott was in it, same with Katharine Ross. It’s not that scary but it is an interesting story. I think it’s prime for a sequel, especially given the plot line. Fun watch, great bluray from Scream Factory.
