a fun and decently fleshed-out side adventure that only feels slightly non-canon. most watch guides will tell you to watch this after episode 54 and i think the main narrative reason for this is Inuyasha having full proficiency with his sword in the movie, but you could easily watch this a few episodes before episode 54 and it won't make much of a difference other than Inuyasha seeming overpowered. otherwise, as long as Sango is already in the crew in the point in which you decide to watch this, this movie will feel basically the same.
the style chosen for the movie felt odd at times but it's very pretty and well animated. i'm watching the brazilian portuguese dub of the anime and it's upsetting that a few voice actors were replaced for the movie for whatever reason
