It’s remarkable that the topic of same-sex parenting has been brought into the social conciousness of Thai folk, and hopefully more tales to come within the larger ASEAN community! I felt the pacing was abit slow and at times, some scenes felt abit too long. Narrative-wise, I wish it could have made more critical stances, for e.g with social worker, Phoon’s fear of raising a gay son, etc. Not that these plotlines should change, its just that the conversations being held should have been more criticial. Films like these, especially the first few on the topic, must carry a clear social mesage, if its intent was to educate, not mindlessly dramatize.
