the third instalment and the final camp blood film with the original director, i really don’t know how the series even got 3 movies but oh really glad this exists.
i feel like each camp blood film got increasingly better, the first film was probably the most memorable one and i subjectively liked it more than the second, just because i really didn’t remember much about that film, but i settled giving them both a similar score as while i would rather watch the first film again, the second film has a better plot, gore and is a lot less predictable. i think the 3rd film managed to be the best of the series so far. it clearly has the best storyline, trapped on a murder sight while competing for a million dollar prize is actually really fun, while it also suffers from horror tropes like it’s predecessors it kind of embraces it, it also embraces a really cheap horror atmosphere and i had loads of fun, the ending of jen being the clown was quite unpredictable, her motive was pretty stupid and i feel the other girl forgave her wayyy too fast.. she just killed like 5 people girlie!! definitely a guilty pleasure, and while i give these films a low score they’re still kinda comforting
