Favorite of the Ranown Westerns by a hair so far. It’s not boundary pushing but I had so much fun with this one.
Also I don’t know if I’ve brought it up in the other reviews but I love that every movie has at least one character that they couldn’t bother putting any thought into their name and just named them after the ethnicity of the actor or a location. For some reason I find it funnier each time I watch another one of these and the trend continues.
So far we have “Chink” (yes I know it’s a slur but that makes it even funnier to me because it’s so nonchalantly said about 15 times in The Tall T), “Spanish”, “Swede”, and about half the cast here is named after the made up town of Agry. I hope this trend continues.
