Not that bad actually! I think this movies got problems and I don’t absolutely love the story in it BUT MAN, Masataka Kubota NAILS the role of Kaneki perfectly in my opinion. He is a very impressive actor, I loved his role in Takashi Miike’s “First Love” aswell. I haven’t watched the Tokyo Ghoul anime in years so I’ve forgotten a lot of the story in it but this isn’t a bad movie. It’s pretty entertaining, has decent to sometimes goofy CGI, and the pacing is pretty good for a 2 hour movie. I kinda like this movie and hope the sequel is just as good.
