Trying to explain this movie after the fact to someone makes it seem way more interesting than it actually is.

While there is nothing abhorrently wrong with any part of the film, it just doesn't really strike as doing anything other than hyping up being abusive like when a schoolboy puts sand in a girl's hair because he doesn't know what else to do, except taken it to its natural conclusion...
