Ok, so this was a wild ride, thanks @jhast496 for the recommendation, I hate you. What. The. Fuck. Was. This. Movie. Kind of made me check to see if there’s a super tall dude living in my walls because aughh. I will admit, it was both quite funny and quite tense at the same time and all wildly gross. It’s a make your skin crawl type movie. I did really enjoy it though. There are some major flaws with it in the end, firstly the acting is quite rough, especially with the confrontation at the end. The slam poetry at the end was a weird direction and kind of ruined the ending as well. I felt like the way the guy was discovered was also kind of random and lazy. I’m not going to hit it on anything else because it is an Indy film but those were the major flaws that bugged me. I did feel like it did a superb job of building suspense, it was quite eerie at times, not particularly horror but more unsettling and gross. It’s hard to describe, you’d just have to watch it to get it, which I recommend watching it. The tall dude did a pretty solid job of being a creep, his anger acting was pretty bad though. Some super funny, quick cut scenes got a giggle or two outta me also when the tall dude said “bon voyage.” Best line delivery, I no shit was laughing for like 30 seconds. But yeah, probably watch again sometime, I was entertained.
