one more school shooting short film.
i hate when i sympathize with the perpetrator but as a psychology student, it’s my job to see why he did what he did and as a human, i am deeply empathetic towards people who are clearly troubled and unstable. this is why it’s important that mental healthcare becomes accessible for everyone globally, because most crimes are rooted in undiagnosed and untreated mental disorders. it is also a good reminder to stay kind to people with disabilities. this was both terrifying and heartbreaking.
also love how there was no dramatic bgm, it made me feel so immersed into the film.
think i’ll watch the silent child later to see if it was worth losing to cause this was genuinely such a good short film.
