Education for Death: The Making of the Nazi

I already saw this about a year ago when I was about to make a trip to Cracow to visit the concentration camps. it's a great example of propaganda, plain and simple. this is exactly how we imagine them: brainless, emotionless, blind soldiers. as inhuman monsters. marching and hailing. hailing and marching. because realizing they were actual people made things a lot more scarier than they already were.

its crazy how they actually made this for a good reason but its still dark and unusual for a walt disney short. i watched this when i was in high school, it was so crazy watching one of these shorts in class, although i watched like 4 of these when i got home.

It's honestly disturbing to say the least but I think I still wouldn't fully understand what's going on, if I was a american child watching this on a daily bases.
The german translations for only important parts is also not very nice sounding. It isn't faul language, just the tone.
It makes german sound aggressive yet again.
But the retelling of "Dornröschen" is disturbing..

cool little propaganda piece honestly, didn't really expect to see sympathy for the german children who were fed nazi propaganda. kids are a reflection of their environment no matter how cruel or evil said environment is. hans its still fuck you tho
