Such a lousy script for one of my favorite directors
Starting this movie I had no idea who was the director but the camerawork, color grading, and overall cinematography was too good for me not to notice
If Macon Blair’s Blue Ruin is a home run then this is a slow walk to home plate
This movie has no idea what it wants to be. Only carried by three actors who did not steal the show at all
I really wish the film went all in on the vampire, werewolf, zombie creature motif
Either way I’ll give it a 3.5/5 or 7/10 just because the camera work was outstanding and story not so much
Just like The End of Oak Street, this feels like a movie that the director just wanted to get out just so they can say they made another movie
David Robert Mitchel and Macon Blair should be creating Oscar level movies right now but they rush stuff like this with a little directorial camera work to boost points not hit with the story

I would’ve let Sheridan in a curb after strike 2. Annoying ass
