Everyone has been highlighting the performance of Vincent Cassel, but for me the highlight of the film was Romain Duris. He seems to really dig deep into the psyche of his character, even if it ultimately doesn't help the film overcome its strange ending. It's a very standard mystery, but it's not a bad one.
