Turkish Clive Barker is high praise especially when the points of comparison are Hellraiser and Lord of Illusions but it’s earned. Sex and cosmic horror with a little flaying. There’s even Phantasm dwarfs thrown in for good measure. I love that when this threatens to get timey wimey dream loopy it just careens into wackiness instead.
I can see why maybe this didn’t fly on Netflix but fuck all that.
