Ok so this is a weird movie. While the first one surprised me with the amount of humor, this kne really went of the rails. Now I'm far from a Johnnie To expert, but this doesn't seem like the type of movie he'd make. But be did and its kinda great
There is something magical about this movie. I can't quite point out what it is. Maybe it's the crazy soundtrack that dosent fit the movie at all but still works amazingly. Maybe it's the weird amount of coin flips and shots of birds. Maybe it's the fact that one if the leads is a literal magician. Maybe it's the fact that this movie somehow maneges to be pretty much every genre ever. Or maybe it's this scene
As you can tell I'm unsure what makes this movie so great, because it really is just not that good when you give it the slightest thought. But i wasn't annoyed, bored or disappointed by the end. I was confused, but aslo just happy that I saw this weird but loveable movie
