Well, you watch a franchise with a lot of movies, you’re bound to hit a dud eventually. Basically a given (unless it’s Evil Dead, fingers crossed I don’t jinx it!).
This is one of the shortest yet still manages to be dull. The less intriguing story of the franchise, and sadly my least favorite Tomie. We barely see her, and when we do it’s almost like they do not understand the character, we barely get the seductive succubus and instead she seems extremely bossy and angry. All due respect to Anri Ban, but very miscasted there.
I add the half star for some cool scenes such as another Tomie eating some guy’s guts but so far my lowest rated entry. Even the ones I rated two and a half had way more redeeming qualities. It can only go up from here hopefully.
