I watched this for my Portuguese class. Frankly, it was abysmal. The acting was awful, the editing was terrible, and it fulfilled the annoying early 2000s stereotype of having technoish music filled with “fast forwarded” scenes and a lot of annoying closeups. I’ve seen American TV movies better than this. The story of a man wanting to provide for his family is heartwarming I guess, but the film itself is just ridiculously bad.
