Pros:
- The Academy-Award Winning song "Falling Slowly" which is just such an emotional and beautiful song. One of my favorite songs ever.
- Two likable performances from Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova that give the film a loving charm and feel very real.
- A script that doesn't end like a typical Hollywood love story, not making it predictable and cliched.
- Cinematography that is quite pretty considering the movie's low budget (not to mention the editing as well)
- The story that is never boring due to the terrific chemistry between the two leads and pacing that never slows down
Cons:
- Besides "Falling Slowly", all of the other songs, while beautiful, may not be as memorable. If I were to listen to the soundtrack, they may become memorable. (Minor flaw)
Not much to mention, but still a terrific film.
