I think My Zoe is the first truly not good movie of the year. Love Julie Delpy but do not love this movie. 

There is so much set up in the first half of this film, which feels like a completely different film than the second. I think that is the general consensus. I think it bites off more than it can chew. There’s so much to deal with and the script and poor pacing do not get the job done. 

I probably would have walked out if Daniel Brühl, Gemma Arterton, and the second half hadn’t introduced a far more intriguing story.
