This is still one of my favorite docs it hits such a hard middle point and it's such a great observation slice of life.
The kids conversation about school and sharia camp is beautiful.

Managed to find the original version of this after seeing the heavily edited version on Netflix.
It’s a raw and honest peek into the life of a radical Islamist family. I like how it gives nuance and insight into their reality without adding much in terms of western values. It’s insane to think how different a life can be just a few hundred miles away.

Watched the cut down version on Netflix (55 mins instead of 99!) so will skip review on this until I can see the full edit.

One of the hardest films I've ever watched in my life. But worth it?
