Wildly uneven. It mixes some unsettling Exorcist-level intensity with distractingly outlandish courtroom shenanigans. By the time the big climactic scene came around, the movie had totally lost me and there was no hope of it having the intended impact. I guess you could say my soul will never find peace with a half-baked screenplay.
