Falling down the endless rabbithole of nightmares upon nightmares, while bizarrely intriguing at first, it got a bit tiresome after a while. Nevertheless, Dream Demon doesn't fail to set a terrific atmosphere, with fun and cartoon-like effects at times, and an overall great flow.

i really just don’t have anything to say about this one. it doesn’t do anything terribly, but it doesn’t do anything spectacular either. the dream sequences are kind of unnerving at times and the visuals are pretty cool at times, but i just couldn’t get invested in this one. the best part of the film was the friendship between the two girls, and it’s not explored deeply enough to even satisfy that. it’s a really interesting premise and dreams really can be something terrifying, but i just think this movie was a bit too ambitious. fun watch though, and needed after a long day!
