I've watched this film countless times at different stages of my life and I cannot overstate just how much this movie shaped me as a person and inspired my work. it might seem stupid. I know the script isn't great. I know it's very white saviory. it doesn't change the fact that I'll still come back to this film TIME AND TIME AGAIN! As a little kid who was equally obsessed with Georgian literature and horror/mysteries this is my dream movie. it's like Downton Abbey with ghosts.
