This is a long one that I’m going to watch in multiple parts so I’ll just record the day as well as the time I got up to (the numbers in brackets represent the time I got up to)
Honestly it’s been over five years since Chester Bennington passed away and this man had such an impact on my life. He was and still is an influence that I’ll always respect even if I song listen to linkin park too often anymore but there are always some songs I always fall back into regardless of my mood or music taste.
When this concert was streamed live, i ember being 13 in 2017 and staying awake at night to watch the streaming my shitty tablet, crying when I was meant to be in bed.. man this is depressing
From linkin park I discovered so many other artists that I’d never have without them. From discovering one of my now favourite bands in one ok rock and reengaging my love for bring me the the horizon (and my possible embarrassing love of thirty seconds to mars) this man did a lot to my life and I’ll forever be thankful. Rest up Chester :)
2nd jan: well I’m eight minutes in and officially crying. The flower microphone in numb is the most depressing thing (25.20)
3rd jan: first things first taka from one ok rock my beloved, I’m so happy I found these guys from Chester and Mike - legit one of my favourite bands and this performance was perfect **somewhere I belong (1.10.28)**
Out of respect to Chester, Mike and the boys at linkin park I can’t rate this anything lower then a 5, cheers to being a big part in my life now and forever!
