hearing Waters talk about the influence Armando Bó and Isabel Sarli had on him made their impact feel even more obvious, he openly admits that, looking back, he borrowed a lot from Bó and his muse for his own films
i just wish the rest of the segments John filmed were out there to watch. i’d especially love to see what he had to say about one of my all-time favorites, Pink Narcissus. wikipedia mentions he presented it in one of the episodes, and i can only imagine what kind of silly yet insightful and perverted things he had to say about it <3
