I am convinced that Michael Bay had something to do with this movie. The characters didn’t really do much, their motives were never really explained. There isn’t enough of some of the characters backstories to really make me care enough for their actions. The final scene is truly heartbreaking but there’s not really much think about to sympathize with them. The performances are good, they do a good job showing strong emotion with the words they use. But I do like how this film displays how ignorant kids can be and it doesn’t matter about the situation. The antagonist was really terrifying, his words and expressions just puts fear into the audience, too bad he doesn’t really do much in the film.
