When I saw there was a movie about people being trapped in an RV that’s haunted by The Toybox Killer, I was sold. “What an interesting concept for a movie about one of the most gruesome (yet relatively unknown) serial killers of all time.” I thought. I was sure in for something gruesome with this movie, just not the kind of gruesome I was anticipating.
First and foremost, this movie is a slog; at it’s most basic form it’s boring , cheap and not scary. The least it could do as a bad movie is be funny in its mediocrity but the laughs are too few and far between that it isn’t even a top pick for a bad movie night with friends. An extremely by the books horror movie that fails to deliver in the horror, mostly due to poor performances and a piss poor script. Honestly the dog’s performance was the only believeable one; the acting was certainly the weakest part of this movie. Imagine being the weakest link in a chain that’s completely rusted over and cracking in several places.
I came into this movie with very little expectations and even those were let down. An interesting concept flushed straight down the mobile shitter.
