This documentary is interesting, raises a lot of questions about our media consumption and medias role in bias presentation of war. However, my criticism of this is the same as other films of it’s nature both documentary form and scripted form. A person on the inside apart of the group is taking up space in the Media landscape when they should be propelling voices of those who are apart of these war torn communities and amplifying their works.
