here’s the thing, everyone in this movie was incredibly talented - they were just given nothing to work with. if the film focused more on the one storyline that mattered (with Jonah Hauer-King aka the reason I watched this movie) I think it really could’ve been something impactful & special. as it stands, the plot is disjointed, kind of clunky, & relied too heavily on themes from Rocky III (which I’ve never seen so I didn’t care).
