A quiet, more tined down movie from Wyler. It features Less characters, humor and locations and focuses on our main character alot more than any of his other movies have done so far. You'd think this makes it harder for Wyler to give us a cinematic experience, but I feel that so far he's actually been better behind the cameras on the "simpler" movies that forces him to get more creative. It's clear that he's a good filmmaker but with at least some of his earlier works, he leads the story take the main focus. Here however we get a good looking movie following an interesting character on a rather rough day for him. Sorry checking out
