The film, while delivering great performances by it's leading actresses, falls rather short in developing any of its other characters, making you feel like you're simply watching stereotypes of business world in a plot, that never seems to go anywhere and a cinematography that is reminiscent of TV movies.
The German tendency not to put music in its more serious movies in order to appear more realistic, lonesome and edgy does nothing of this and just has the effect of making the experience more boring than needs be.
Enjoyable, however, are the atmosphere of paranoia, that are sprinkled throughout, some of the social commentary, when it is not overly on the nose, and the sisters relationship, that keeps you imagining the horrors they went through in their youth.
Fine, but bland.
